We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Submissions
World Poetry accepts proposals annually throughout the month of June. Please download the proposal guidelines and read them carefully before querying us.
World Poetry publishes only new English-language translations of poetic works written in a language other than English. We do not publish fiction or nonfiction. The proposal must be submitted by a translator. Self-translated works or submissions from authors will not be considered. If you are an agent, please see the guidelines linked above before you query us. We encourage proposals for works-in-progress and simultaneous submissions are permitted. We accept proposals only from June 1 to June 30. We aim to respond within three to four months. Proposals submitted outside the reading period may not receive a response.
